Letter to the Editor:
I'd like to give a huge thank you to all who came to my home furnishing store, Madeline Moss, last Thursday evening to hear Shelley Brindle, Linda Habgood, Mike Dardia, David Contract and Dawn Mackey speak. Their speeches were so inspiring and so what-we-needed to hear. It started as a small fundraiser, then a meet-and-greet and ended up a rally!
No doubt about it, Shelley is the right one for the job as mayor of our town. Shelley described her relevant vast experience, her goals and her vision for what the town needs. Most importantly, Shelley envisions a master plan with a direction to bring life and movement to all of our tired areas. This is exactly what the downtown needs.
We had the pleasure of hearing the ward candidates speak about their experience and platforms, ideas that perfectly fit the puzzle for solving our downtown challenges. The Westfield Together candidates, Shelley, Linda, Mike, David and Dawn offer strong and vibrant leadership. And remember, half of the council is not up for election this year, so if all of these ward candidates have a chance to serve, the town administration would truly become bi-partisan.
For a lot of reasons, let's shake up our town council and town hall this November 7th by voting for Shelley Brindle, Linda Habgood, Mike Dardia, David Contract and Dawn Mackey. As Shelley says, the status quo simply isn't good enough. I'm ready for a change that will benefit all the residents of Westfield.
